Kids Ministry
Kindergarden to Grade 5
11am every Sunday
Common Table offers kids ministry for younger, grade school kids.
Kids join worship at 11am and are dismissed to join the Kids Ministry with a leader who guides them in a structured lesson. They gather with the main worship service for communion and finish out the service in the Kids Ministry where you can pick them up after the service.
What to Expect
Our Kids Ministry is led by Eunsung Kim, Common Table's Kids Ministry Coordinator. You can read about Eunsung Kim's experience on our leadership page. The kids follow a leader out after they're dismissed from the worship service, and go to our Lobby A space. Here they're lead through a lesson on the scripture read in the main service. The lesson is crafted from a program curriculum that Eunsung or the leading volunteer creates a lesson and activity from. We welcome the kids back into worship service for communion to ensure they are an integrated member of our gatherings each Sunday. Afterward, they return to the kids ministry room for a snack before their parents pick them up when the gathering is over.
Children must be checked in by a parent or guardian prior to the service and will receive a name tag with a unique code. That code is used in case the parent/guardian is needed for any spills, accidents or emergencies. If your child has any allergies or special needs, please inform the volunteer at check in so they are prepared and can add it to the child's profile.
