Common Table offers nursery services for children up to 5 years old and will be split into groups based on their age. Children in the nursery have safe, supervised, unstructured play time while their parent/guardian(s) gather during worship.
You can check your child in and drop them off up to 15 minutes before worship begins. Please pick up your child when worship is over.
What to Expect
Our nursery volunteers are available to receive kids before the service and supervise them while their parent/guardian(s) attend the worship service. When available, a volunteer may lead them through a semi-structured lesson based on the narrative lectionary called Living the Word. They spend their time coloring, building, playing pretend and socializing. When age appropriate, snacks are distributed.
Children must be checked in by parent/guardian(s) prior to the service and will receive a name tag with a unique code. Parent/guardian(s) must sign a waiver to allow a trusted volunteer to help with diaper changes and potty breaks. That code is used in case the parent/guardian(s) are needed for any spills, accidents or emergencies. If your child has any allergies or special needs, please inform the volunteer at check in so they are prepared and can add it to the child's profile.
All volunteers and staff who work with minors undergo a background check.
