Our  neighborhood

Common Table strives to connect with our immediate community in the Randolph neighborhood and in RVA in a tangible way. From gardening, donating food or labor, and standing up for justice to hold our local government accountable, Common Table is bringing together faith and works.

OUR FINANCES

Common Table strives for transparency in all of its functions. We have a fiduciary duty to our congregants to be open and honest with how we use the gifts we are given.

Common Table receives funding primarily from you and others who have the opportunity to give on a recurring basis. We also apply for grants, receive one time-gifts, rent out our building, and have a reserve fund for emergencies or larger purposes. On occasion, Common Table will run campaigns for specific goals or partnerships. The budget is created by our Finance Team, run by lay leadership and approved by Church Council. Throughout the year, funds are allocated to various purposes like building costs, special giving, paying our staff  and more.

If you have any questions about the finances of Common Table, feel free to message our Finance Team at finance@commontablerva.com.
